SCARS

Scars  affect millions of people everyday.  Unfortunately, most are of the belief that there is no alternative but to live with the identifying mark for the rest of their lives.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Scars develop naturally as a part of our body’s healing process. Scar tissue is not identical to the skin it replaces due to the fact that scar tissue does not regenerate like normal skin. Scars can develop from a wide variety of situations including cuts, abrasions, surgery, burns and disease.  These are stubborn to treat, but we have had success especially if we get to them early…and often even if we don’t. We have a variety of treatments, including lasers,  and these depend on where they are located and the type of scar.
